Ozempic®

Treatment

Staring a new prescription for weight loss medication can be confusing at first, this is why we we have created some additional content to help you start your weight loss journey. As always, if you have any concerns, you can contact our team at [email protected] and we aim to get back to you within 24 hours. Ozempic® is injected once weekly as a subcutaneous injection with the active ingredient semaglutide. Along with diet and exercise, Ozempic® is an excellent addition to aid your weight loss journey. So, let's talk dosing! The beginning dose is 0.25 mg once a week for the first 4 weeks. This will help give your body a chance to get used to the medicine. At Week 5, your healthcare provider at QuickDoc can increase the dose to 0.5 mg once a week. This is requested through your client dashboard. Many individuals are happy at the 0.5mg dose, however we also offer Ozempic® pens that deliver doses of 1 mg to give you additional control. You can request to increase your dose on your QuickDoc client dashboard. While your dose may change, nothing will change about how you take Ozempic®, the 1 mg dose pens are the same as the pen you already use. Take Ozempic® once a week, on the same day every week, exactly as prescribed by QuickDoc. You can take Ozempic® with or without food.
