Tania Leach

Tania Leach is the founder, director and co-owner of QuickDoc. She has a clinical background as a Paramedic, specialising in Leadership, Trauma and Critical Care. She has been a practising Paramedic in the United Kingdom since 2010 and has also held registrations in both Australia and New Zealand. She completed both her Foundation Degree and Batchelor of Science in Paramedic Studies in the United Kingdom at Liverpool John Moores University and she is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Global Health.
Tania had the vision for QuickDoc after moving to Canada in May 2022 whilst on Maternity Leave after her daughter was born in Victoria, BC in July 2022. Tania and co-founder Dr Daniel Leach were concerned about the lack of access that Canadians have to a Family Doctor service in Canada and wanted to create an online platform in which individuals can have easy access to prescriptions for certain common conditions which would not otherwise be available to them. Tania is very passionate about equalities in healthcare in both the developed and undeveloped world. She also volunteers her time to work on healthcare projects in Zanzibar, Tanzania in which she is working alongside the Ministry of Health to improve trauma care and injury and the establishment of prehospital care. In her spare time Tania enjoys what the Canadian outdoors can offer her. She enjoys hiking with her family, mountain biking, surfing and snowboarding.
