QuickDoc Vision
QuickDoc is the vision of Dr Daniel Leach and Tania Leach, a husband-and-wife team originally from the UK. They moved to Canada in May 2022 for Dr Daniel to work as a Family Doctor on Vancouver Island shortly before the arrival of their daughter in July 2022.
Both Tania and Daniel have a passion for equal and affordable access to healthcare in both the developed and developing world and soon became very aware of the healthcare crisis in Canada with regards to access to a Family Doctor.
Our founders have significant experience in working in the remote healthcare industry, which was especially amplified during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Pandemic showed us that technology could be used simultaneously with traditional medicine to create a higher level of medical efficiency and allow access to healthcare which otherwise would be impossible.
QuickDoc was created as an online platform in which the user can take control of their own healthcare journey. They will be able to access prescription medication for specific common conditions. All prescriptions are checked and issued by one of our Canadian Registered Doctors and filled by our partner Pharmacy and delivered straight to the users specified address.
We want to target those individuals who do not have a Family Doctor or access to a similar service, such as immigrants, students or those who have recently moved areas or those who cannot get to see their Family Doctor due to protracted wait times. As recent immigrants to Canada ourselves we know how much a service like this is needed. We also want to target those individuals who may not have health insurance by offering a low-cost alternative than getting their medication through a traditional avenue.
At QuickDoc we are pioneering technology at the core of our operations, from clinical interactions and information gathering to prescription processing and refills.

At QuickDoc the user will have instant access to our programmed clinical knowledge database utilising WatsonX conversational AI platform, powered by IBM in order to aid in clinical history gathering to see if you are eligible for a prescription. The system runs 24/7 and will be reviewed regularly by our medical team in order to generate your prescription
Safe
At QuickDoc, safety is our priority. Both medical safety and cyber safety. We have designed our medical systems robustly to ensure that clinical guidelines are strictly adhered to and that generation of a specific prescription is both viable and ethical. We safely store all medical data in accordance with PIPEDA guidelines to ensure the upmost protection of clinical and personal data.
Efficient
At QuickDoc we are efficient, we only ask the user relevant medical questions in relation to the condition that we will be treating and the medication that we will be prescribing. We only focus on the task at hand and do not elicit data gathering disguised as medical history taking. We are so confident in our service model, we do not need to push additional products to retain users.
